Merge PDF files

Combine several PDFs into a single document, in the order you choose.

Processed on your device — files are never uploaded

Up to 20 PDFs, 100 MB each

About this tool

Sending one file instead of five is simpler for everyone: a job application with CV and certificates, an expense claim with all receipts, or chapters of a report.

Pages are copied exactly as they are — text stays selectable, links and image quality are untouched. Nothing is re-printed or flattened.

How to use Merge PDF

  1. 1Choose two or more PDF files (you can add more afterwards).
  2. 2Use the arrows to set the order. The first file comes first in the result.
  3. 3Press “Merge PDFs” and download your combined document.

Good to know

Need to drop or reorder a few pages?

Merge first, then use Reorder PDF Pages or Extract PDF Pages on the result for page-level control.

Forms and bookmarks

Page content is preserved, but bookmarks (the outline panel) and fillable form fields from the original files may not carry over.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a watermark on the merged PDF?

No. The result contains only your pages, nothing added.

How many files can I merge?

Up to 20 PDFs, 100 MB each and 300 MB in total per merge.

Why does one of my files fail?

Usually because it is password-protected or damaged. The message tells you which file it is, so you can remove it or unlock it first.

Are my documents uploaded?

No. Merging happens in your browser. Your files stay on your device.
